My passion for teaching english
I enjoy teaching English and helping students grow their confidence. It's truly rewarding to see the progress my students make. I have a degree in English Literature from Victoria University and a Certificate 4 in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Holmesglen Institute of Technology in Melbourne.
My unique approach
I have a personal engagement with the students, with a constant two-way dialogue to make the student feel at ease, making the learning experience very enjoyable. This approach allows me to tailor lessons to each student's specific needs and learning style, ensuring effective and fun learning.
Inspired to help in wellington
I have found that Wellington has a significant number of migrants, which include people who have faced enormous hardships, subjected to abuse, and seeking refugee status in New Zealand to start a new life. It is important for them to get into the workforce as quickly as possible. Being an English-speaking country, they find it very difficult to gain access to a working environment and at times get isolated.
